Supporting Forestry Services on the BC Coast

Our Service History

SilverFox Marine Charters has deep roots in forestry operations. The company began in 1984 by transporting forest workers through the inlets and waterways around Port Hardy. From 1986 to 1998, we supported several private logging companies and held long‑term contracts with the B.C. Forest Service (Port McNeill).

These early years built the foundation of our reputation: reliable, safe, and highly experienced in remote coastal operations.

Marine Access for Remote Forestry Operations

Today, we continue that tradition by providing dependable marine transport and logistical support for forestry crews working along the rugged shores of Barkley Sound and the broader BC coast. With strong local knowledge and flexible scheduling, we help teams reach remote sites efficiently and keep fieldwork moving smoothly throughout the off‑season.
