Terms of Service

1. General

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by SilverFox Marine Charters (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking a charter or staying at our lodge, guests (“you,” “your”) agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your dates, vessel, and lodge accommodations.
  • The remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your departure date.
  • All payments are made exclusively by e‑transfer.
  • Bookings are confirmed only once payment is received.

3. What’s Included

All multi‑day charters include:

  • Use of the SilverFox vessel
  • Licensed guide
  • Fuel for planned activities
  • All required safety equipment
  • Fishing gear and bait
  • Refrigerated fish cooler
  • All meals, snacks, and non‑alcoholic beverages
  • Waterfront lodge accommodations (sleeps 4)
  • Clean linens and towels
  • Use of kayaks, paddle boards, and lodge amenities

4. Alcohol Policy

Guests may bring their own alcoholic beverages.

  • Beer must be in cans only
  • Boxed wine is preferred
  • No glass bottles on board for safety reasons

5. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 60 days before departure: Deposit refundable minus an administrative fee.
  • 30–60 days before departure: Deposit non‑refundable; additional payments refunded.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: Full payment non‑refundable.

6. Weather & Safety

Safety is our top priority. We reserve the right to:

  • Adjust departure times
  • Modify itineraries
  • Delay or reschedule trips due to unsafe conditions

No refunds are issued for weather‑related delays, but we will work with you to reschedule.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions from the guide
  • Use equipment responsibly
  • Respect wildlife and marine regulations
  • Consume alcohol responsibly
  • Report any damage to equipment or property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misuse.

8. Liability

SilverFox Marine Charters is fully insured and certified by Transport Canada. Guests participate in marine activities at their own risk. We are not liable for:

  • Personal injury due to guest negligence
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Weather‑related disruptions

A separate liability waiver may be required before departure.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada
